What Is Fantasy Sport?
A fantasy sport is an addictive game where you can build your own virtual sports team and “own” real-life athletes to play for your team. Your fantasy team’s performance is decided based on the performances of these real-life athletes when they compete in real-life sporting matches.
For example, John joins a fantasy football game based on the English Premier League (EPL) and creates his fantasy team called John FC. He selects Wayne Rooney to play for this fantasy team. When Rooney scores a goal in a real-world football match, his goal will be registered as fantasy points for John’s fantasy team, say 5 points for one goal scored. John will earn points from all his players that played and the accumulated points decides John’s ranking in the fantasy football leaderboard.
